Personal Training

  • Would you like to lose weight or tone up but can't face going to the gym?
  • Are you training for a specific sport or an event such as a charity run/ walk?
  • Maybe your doctor has recommended that you exercise to keep your heart healthy, strengthen some muscles, or increase mobility in some joints, and you want to make sure you get expert advice.
  • Perhaps you're really close to reaching your personal goal, but just need someone to help with the fine-tuning.

    Whatever your goal, I can help you achieve it! As a qualified Personal Trainer, the training I offer isn't just one-to-one, it's truly personalised to help you achieve your goal, and keep you focussed and motivated throughout!

    Before we start, I recommend we meet for a no-obligation introductory session* and fitness assessment to discuss your goals, and take initial metrics which we will use to track your progress. Even if you decide not to proceed with a course, you get to keep the fitness assessment results.

    If you continue, I will devise a customised exercise prescription to suit your needs, based on your fitness assessment, goals, likes and dislikes. Then, we can meet as many times as you like during the week either at your home, or perhaps a public park or sports ground where we can work out together to ensure you're getting the most from the exercise programme.

    If you're not completely satisfied with your programme, we can agree changes to enable you to achieve the same goals using exercises or techniques you prefer. I truly believe exercise should feel good, so if you're not enjoying yourself we probably just need to try something new instead! I can also give some nutritional advice as part of the package to help ensure you're getting the food-activity balance right. In addition to this, every four weeks we will re-take your metrics to track your progress.
