Nutrition & Weight Management

To lose weight or maintain a healthy weight without adversely affecting the body, we need to make sure we address both sides of the equation - food intake and energy output; to improve health or stay healthy, we need to make sure we get plenty of exercise and have a well balanced diet. So whether your goal is to lose weight and tone up, or to lower blood pressure and cholesterol, a healthy lifestyle really is the answer.

For the most part, we have a good idea of how we can start to improve our diet. Many of us find ourselves snacking on fatty or sugary foods or drinking too much alcohol, whilst not eating enough fruit and veg or drinking enough water. Sometimes, simply addressing these issues can be enough to see a difference, especially when combined with a good exercise programme.

However, there's so much in the media these days about obesity and weight loss, so many TV shows and magazines offering quick and simple weight loss plans endorsed by some celebrity or other, and so many manufacturers claiming that their foods are good for you, and it can get confusing. Which is where I can help. I can help you sort the truth from the myths, and get you eating the right amounts of the right foods to help you achieve your goal.
